One person is dead after an SUV struck a semi-truck after traveling into oncoming traffic on Interstate 74 in East Peoria.

The two-vehicle crash happened on Orange Prairie Road near the Louisville Slugger Complex at 11:39 p.m. Saturday, coroner Jamie Harwood said in a news release.

A 42-year-old Galesburg woman died Thursday morning after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 74 in Peoria County.
