Corporate Support

NPR features the most popular national news programs from Morning Edition to All Things Considered and beyond. WCBU, a part of the NPR network, is a leader in local news, providing award-winning coverage to a growing Central Illinois audience.

NPR offers a non-intrusive, clutter-free environment for on-air and digital underwriters. The concise and straightforward underwriting messages instill a sense of quality, credibility, and community connection between our audience and yours.

WCBU reaches listeners 20,000 listeners weekly in 10 counties across central Illinois via our broadcast from the campus of Bradley University and 17,500 listeners monthly through WCBU.org and the NPR App. WCBU.org averages 75,000 monthly users and 130,000 unique page views.

Our audience is comprised of business owners, community leaders, decision makers, and influencers who are engaged and intensely loyal. NPR listeners are more than three times as likely than the average adult to be an Influential. Indeed, NPR reaches one of the highest concentrations of key community leaders in all of media. A large body of research suggests that Influentials are significantly more likely than other Americans to drive social trends, influence mass opinion, and create word of mouth for ideas and products.

"Objective journalism is more important today than it has been for a very long time. It's good business to support the people that are trying to keep our public educated and thinking about the big questions."
