A 38-year-old man is dead following a single-vehicle rollover crash Monday afternoon in North Peoria.
In a social media post Wednesday, Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood identified the victim as Cody Bridgewater.
Harwood said Bridgewater was pronounced dead at the hospital about an hour after the wreck in the 6700 block of Galena Road, between Peoria Heights and Mossville. Emergency medical personnel and Illinois State Police were called to the scene around 12:15 p.m.
Harwood said the man was ejected from his vehicle and arrived at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center with no pulse and not breathing.
The coroner said Bridgewater died from multiple blunt force injuries and likely died instantly.
