The Peoria County coroner’s office is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash in Bartonville.
Bartonville police and fire crews responded to the crash at 1008 W. Garfield Ave. at about 5:55 p.m. Friday.
Coroner Jamie Harwood said David E. Mason, 70, of Bartonville, was killed instantly in a head-on collision. Mason drove one of the vehicles. He died of multiple injuries, according to the coroner.
Harwood said toxicology testing is pending.
