A man was killed and another person injured Saturday after a collision between a motorcycle and another vehicle west of Hanna City in Peoria County.

First responders reported to the scene of the crash near the intersection of North Eden Road and West Farmington Road, which is Illinois 116, shortly before 10 a.m.

Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood confirmed a man in his 50s who was operating the motorcycle was killed. His identity and an official cause of death has not yet been released.

Harwood says another passenger on the motorcycle was injured and is hospitalized in stable condition.

Illinois State Police closed the roads for more than four hours.

The incident remains under investigation by the coroner’s office and the state police.
