Social Media Guidelines

WCBU loves a good discussion, but here are a few ground rules you need to know about if you’re going to comment on our social media posts. We welcome civil debate, and we know some issues require blunt talk.

The following will not be allowed:

• Obscenity
• Fighting words
• Defamation (including libel and slander)
• Child pornography
• False statements of fact.
• Blackmail
• Incitement to imminent lawless action
• True threats
• Solicitations to commit crimes
• Commercial speech

Any comments containing any of the above will be removed. Repeat offenders may not be allowed to post.

You may appeal the removal of your posts by emailing us at news@wcbu.org. Outline why you feel your post does NOT meet the criteria for being removed.

A response will be emailed to you within five business days. The decision in the response is final.
