Peoria teenager shot in head in August has died

A teenager shot in August in Peoria has died.

Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood said 16-year-old Antonio Walker of Peoria died last Saturday after suffering a gunshot wound to the head on Aug. 30.

A total of six people were injured in the shooting in the 2200 block of West Marquette on the city's South Side. Five were shot, and one suffered a laceration.

ShotSpotter detected a total of 29 rounds fired. The case is still under investigation. No arrests have been made.
