Peoria police have arrested a man in connection with the June shooting death of a teenager.
Markes Wilson, 28, was arrested for aggravated discharge of a firearm and unlawful possession of a weapon in connection with the shooting incident that led to the death of 15-year-old Emarion Carpenter and the injury of another youth.
Police found ammunition and an empty extended magazine in the residence Wilson was leaving when he was arrested.
The homicide remains under investigation.
