Bradley's Ville Tahvanainen (23) shoots over Missouri's Dru Smith (12) during their game last month in Columbia, Mo.

The Bradley University men’s basketball team has make-up dates for its originally scheduled first four Missouri Valley Conference games, which were postponed after COVID-19 outbreaks.

The two-game series against Loyola at Carver Arena moved from Jan. 3-4 now will be played Jan. 24-25, while the original Valley-opening visit to Valparaiso from Dec. 28-29 has been changed to two single-game trips on Jan. 28 and Feb. 10.

The Braves completed their nonconference schedule with a 6-3 record, but haven’t played since a one-point loss at Missouri on Dec. 22. The two-time defending MVC Tournament champions will return to action at 3 p.m. Sunday with the opener of a two-game series at Northern Iowa.

The Valley also shifted dates and locations for three other Bradley contests, notably switching sites for both games in the rivalry series with Illinois State. The Jan. 20 game will be played at Redbird Arena, while the Braves will host the Feb. 17 contest.

Bradley’s two-day trip to Indiana State was pushed back a day to Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. Additionally, the tipoff time for the Feb. 26 home game against Drake has been moved to 6 p.m.
