A Peoria woman died Monday night following an accident on Interstate 74 near Carlock. Family members confirm 72-year-old Marcia Gaffney was killed just after 6:10 p.m.
She was a passenger in a westbound truck driven by her husband, Mike Gaffney.
Illinois State Police officials say the truck was pulling a non-motorized camper trailer. The truck veered off the road to the right, causing both to roll.
Mike Gaffney was airlifted to OSF Healthcare St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
The accident remains under investigation.
