Yellow police tape stretches across a blurry crime scene. It says "Police Line Do Not Cross." The text "WCBU Police and Fire" lays on top of that photo.

A man is dead after a shooting Saturday night in Peoria's East Bluff.

Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood identified the man Monday as 50-year-old Deandre M. Blocker, Sr.

Harwood said an autopsy showed multiple gunshot wounds and Blocker likely died moments after the shooting.

Peoria Police Sgt. Amy Dotson said officers responded to two ShotSpotter alerts in the 600 block of E. Frye around 9:45 p.m. The alerts indicated four rounds were fired.

Officers found Blocker in a residence with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact Peoria Police at (309) 673-4521, Tip411 (anonymously), or Crime Stoppers (anonymously) at (309) 673-9000.
