NPR member stations across the country are facing a period of unknowns after an executive order from President Donald Trump called for an end to NPR and PBS funding through the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

On Thursday night, President Trump signed an executive order titled “Ending Taxpayer Subsidization of Biased Media.” The order instructs the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to prohibit both direct and indirect federal funding to NPR and PBS.
