Authorities in Chicago say they've charged three boys in the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old. The Chicago Police Department says the boys were charged as adults Sunday with first-degree murder, attempted armed robbery and discharging a firearm causing bodily harm. The police department did not identify the boys because they are juveniles. The three are expected to appear in bond court Sunday afternoon. Police say the three tried to rob 15-year-old Kimon Wheeler late Wednesday. Wheeler turned to flee and was shot in the back. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition and pronounced dead. The shooting occurred on the city's west side.
