This year is the 40th anniversary of the Emerald Society of Illinois. For 33 years a band of mostly Chicago Police officers has frequently been the somber face of that group…but it’s far from somber this month. Illinois Public Radio’s Brian O’Keefe went to catch up with the group that refers to itself as “Cops in Kilts”:
