Quest Academy Seeks "Village of Men"

Peoria Public Radio

Peoria’s Quest Charter Academy is seeking volunteers for its "Village of Men" to welcome students back to school.

The welcome is set for 8 a.m. on Aug. 1. The idea involves volunteer men and women cheering students as they enter school. Officials say it shows the students they are loved, valued and supported.

More than 100 men participated in the Village of Men during its debut last year.
