A Peoria man was stabbed to death yesterday at Parkview Estates Apartments. Police found 29-year-old Kang Abel behind Building H of the Gale Avenue apartments yesterday about 5:00. He was transported to the hospital and died in surgery about an hour later. The preliminary autopsy showed Abel died of two stab wounds to his lower torso.
Peoria Police says 56-year-old James Watkins Jr. was taken into custody at the scene and has been arrested for First Degree Murder.
