Police are piecing together details about the case of a woman who was found dead in a trash container last week.

County Coroner Johnna Ingersoll says the woman is believed to be 43-year-old Taquilla M. Jackson, who lived at 1300 South Easton Avenue.

Police Captain Loren Marion says the body was found two blocks away from her residence.

“We had two scenes," Marion said. "One where the body was found and the crime scene itself, so a lot of work has been done in the last 24 hours.”

Police have arrested 51-year-old Bobby Lee Archie Junior on charges of murder in this case.

Archie lived with Jackson, Ingersoll said.

Ingersoll says she cannot confirm the body’s identity 100 percent until dental records are released early next week. She says blunt force trauma to the head was the probable cause of death.

Police say Taquilla M. Jackson was last seen on October 8.
