Peoria Quest Charter Academy has a new interim executive director.
Cindy Fischer was part of the team that helped charter the school and also served on the board of directors.
Quest Academy Vice Chair Tom Fliege says as the board transitions away from its current management company, they will work to put in place a full time Executive Director, Business Manager and School Principal. "In that regard, Cindy will manage the process and liaison with the board," he says. "She’ll also interact with Concept Schools during this period, to make surethat there are no oversights, nothing falls between the cracks.”
Fischer starts in the part-time interim role next week. She’s already retired from the fields of education and community service.
The Quest Board also unanimously approved its new five-year contract with Peoria School District 150.
