Peoria police seek person of interest in homicide

Police police say they are looking for a person of interest in the death of a 47-year old Peoria bar owner. Peoria County Coroner Johnna Ingersoll says an autopsy shows Todd Scholl died prior to the fire in a downtown storage area where his body was found. Ingersoll says Scholl sustained multiple stab wounds. He owns two bars, Berlin and Diesel, on Main Street. Toxicology test results are pending.

The Peoria Police Department says no arrests have been made, and the investigation continues. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Peoria Police Department.
