OSF Saint Francis Centers for Breast Health are offering three-dimensional mammograms.
The 3D mammography allows radiologists to see more and gain a better understanding of breast tissue. The new screening tool is used in concert with the standard 2D mammogram.
The Center for Health Rt. 91 and Morton locations allow the 3D imaging to be done at the same time. Women are encouraged to see if they prefer the new mammogram technology.
