A Peoria Doctor is being recognized for outstanding pediatric care.
Dr. Teresa Riech (REESH) is the Emergency Department Pediatric Medical Director at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of Illinois. She is receiving the State’s Ron W. Lee Pediatric Care Award.
Dr. Riech is triple board certified in emergency medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics. Her education certifications include Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation.
The Pediatric Care Award Dr. Riech is receiving is given annually by the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Emergency Medical Services for Children program. It recognizes outstanding dedication and service to pediatric emergency care and childhood injury prevention initiatives.
