Peoria Symphony Concert Offers "Winter Dreams"

Peoria Symphony Orchestra

Conductor George Stelluto and Concertmaster Marcia Henry Liebenow are with us this week to talk about the next concert with the Peoria Symphony Orchestra. The concert is called "Winter Dreams," and it offers musical reflections on the season by Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, Max Bruch and others.

They talk about several of the pieces on the program -- some of which feature unusual instrumentation and/or special appearances by notable members of the community. Henry Liebenow is celebrating her 25th season with the orchestra, and is the soloist in a Vivaldi concerto. The concert also represents the Symphony's return to one of its longtime venues.

The Peoria Symphony Orchestra presents its concert, "Winter Dreams," tomorrow night at 7:30 at Riverside Community Church in Peoria.
