Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood on Thursday identified a 22-year-old Dunlap man who died in a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday.

Harwood said Ryan Todd of West Hickory Grove Road was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash shortly before noon.

According to the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office, Todd was riding a motorcycle on West Cedar Hills Drive when he collided with the back of a vehicle traveling in the same direction, and was thrown off the motorcycle into the opposite lane where he was struck by an oncoming car.

The occupants of both cars were not injured.

Harwood said Todd suffered multiple trauma injuries and died instantly. He was wearing protective gear, including a helmet.

As required by Illinois law, a toxicology test is pending.
