One person is dead after a multi-vehicle crash Saturday night in Peoria.

A spokesperson for Illinois State Police (ISP) said a juvenile driver without a license failed to stop at a stop sign in the area of North University Street and West Hudson Street around 9:35 p.m.

The juvenile driver struck a motorcycle in the intersection. The motorcycle driver fell off and was hit by a third vehicle. Police said the driver suffered life threatening injuries and succumbed to those injuries.

There's no further information available about the driver of the motorcycle at this time.

State Police say the investigation is ongoing.
