A Peoria County jury on Wednesday convicted Byron A. Jarvis of first-degree murder in an August 2023 fatal shooting of a 17-year-old in the East Bluff neighborhood.

Judge Kevin Lyons sentenced Robert A. White to 55 years in prison for killing Daniella Jackson, 33, and shooting Levi Conway, 44. Lyons ordered the sentences to be served consecutively.
