Rauner reports his finances

We have an updated picture of how Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner is making money.

In a filing required of government employees, Rauner gives an update of where some of his financial stakes lie in terms of entities doing business in Illinois.

The filing shows he has a stake in everything from a food delivery website to the Chicago Bulls.  Not to mention many investment firms and funds.

Rauner’s opponent in last year’s election made the governor’s personal wealth an issue during the campaign.

And when he took office, Rauner set up a so-called “blind trust”  in which a firm took control of investing his fortune to avoid the appearance of conflicts.  Rauner has said he made 60 million dollars last year.
