ISU student critically injured in hit-and-run

Illinois State University officials say a student has been critically injured after a hit-and-run accident.

ISU President Larry Dietz says student Benjamin Allison of Crystal Lake was hurt in the accident.  Officials say Allison was struck by a vehicle and found in a Normal intersection Saturday morning.

Dietz says Allison was a communication major and student staff member at WZND.  Police have arrested a suspect in the case.
