A man is dead after a shooting late Saturday night on Peoria's South Side.
Peoria police responded to the 1500 block of S. Faraday around 11:15 p.m. on a ShotSpotter report of four rounds being fired.
An adult man was found in the area with a gunshot wound, said police. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died. This is Peoria's ninth reported homicide of 2020.
There is no suspect information. Anyone with information is asked to call Peoria police or CrimeStoppers.
