Coroner: Woman whose body was found in Illinois River drowned

Authorities have identified the woman found Tuesday morning in the Illinois River.

Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood said 58-year-old Tamara Schaidle of Peoria died from drowning.

According to Harwood, the coroner's office is collaborating with the Peoria police department and more tests are pending. The manner of death is still under investigation.
