Man Killed in Peoria Shooting

A 22-year-old man is dead after a shooting in Peoria on Wednesday evening.

Peoria police responded to the 1700 block of N. Great Oak Road on a shots fired report. There were no victims or any victims when police arrived to the scene, but a man with a gunshot wound was dropped off via private vehicle at a local hospital shortly afterwards.

The man, Brein Metts of Peoria, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
