Fulton County Reports First Positive COVID-19 Case

Centers for Disease Control

Fulton County is reporting its first positive COVID-19 case.

The resident tested positive at Graham Hospital in Canton. The patient is recovering in isolation at home.

Fulton is one of the last Central Illinois counties to report a positive COVID-19 case. Another resident of a neighboring county also tested positive at Graham Hospital recently. Twenty-six tests came back negative, and two are still pending.

Officials at Graham say test results take as long as 10 days to come back from private labs currently.
