Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band’s Peoria performance set a record for the Civic Center Arena.
Tuesday’s appearance as part of the Roll Me Away Tour grossed more than $1-million, the highest in the venue’s 37-year history. Elton John’s 2011 performance held the Civic Center’s previous ticket sales record.
General Manager Rik Edgar says the rock concert exceeded expectations.
Bob Seger says this tour is his last. It continues across the country through May.
