Police Seek Help Locating Bank Robbery Suspect

One of the two males suspected of robbing Commerce Bank on North Knoxville in Peoria last week has been identified.  Peoria Police say 28 year-old Tarius D. Ganaway is wanted for armed robbery.  

On January 11th two suspects dressed in black entered the Commerce bank around 4:00 p.m. armed. After the robbery they drove off in a white four door vehicle.  

The unidentified suspect is described as a light complected thin male who was wearing a mask, armed with a shotgun.

Peoria Police are asking for assistance locating Ganaway and identifying the remaining unknown suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the Peoria Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at (309) 494-8391 or report anonymously with CrimeStoppers (309) 673-9000.
