The East Peoria City Council will consider approving a separation agreement for Fire Chief William Darin at its meeting this Tuesday night. The separation agreement for retirement would take effect at the end of the month. Darin has led East Peoria’s Fire Department for six years. City officials say Darin will be paid a severance package as part of the agreement.
