The Peoria City Council overwhelmingly approved a plan allowing up to three food trucks to operate in the downtown this year. But the Council deferred a decision on food truck operations outside the downtown until next month. Some councilmembers expressed concern there was no limit to food trucks elsewhere in the city.
Fees for downtown trucks to operate will be $3,400, although some council members want to revisit the amount down the road.
