The Peoria County Board hit the road for last night’s monthly meeting. Peoria Public Radio’s Alex Rusciano reports the group met in Chillicothe:
The Board is meeting every other month at different venues across the County this year. The Board voted to appoint Dunlap School Board member and former Caterpillar manager Jason Hauer to fill out the remaining Recorder of Deeds term through late 2016. The Board also approved Scott Sorrel as acting Administrator to temporarily step in for Lori Curtis Luther, who was out earlier this year on medical leave. The Illinois Valley Central high school Chorale opened the meeting with a few songs, including the piece “Java Jive”.
