A Eureka teen is dead following a Tuesday night car crash. The Tazewell County Coroner’s Office says 18-year old Dustin David Holmes was killed in the incident that occurred at East Cruger Road near Dee Mack Road.
Police say the vehicle was going eastbound on Cruger when the driver lost control and hit a power pole. The Tazewell County Sheriff’s Department says 21-year old Donald G. Peterson was a passenger in the car. He was taken to an area hospital.
The Peoria County Coroner’s office is performing the autopsy. The accident is still under investigation.
