Peoria Police union sues City over legal fee payments

The Peoria Police Benevolent union wants the City of Peoria to continue paying legal costs for Officer Jeff Wilson.  Wilson faces stalking allegations from Officer Donna Nicholson.

The Police union filed a motion this week asking a judge to require the city to pay legal fees for Wilson as set out in the collective bargaining agreement.  The city recently stopped paying for Wilson’s legal bills.  A management conference on the injunction is set for December, but a hearing could come sooner.
