A three year child was the victim of an early Sunday morning shooting. Peoria Police say the shooting took place in the 23-hundred block of West Proctor Street. They say it was likely the result of shots being fired during a party next door to the boy’s home. The child suffered two gunshot wounds as he slept on the couch. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to make a full recovery. Police say no arrests have been made.
