Peoria Players Theatre Presents "A Chorus Line"

This week, our guest is Chip Joyce. He's directing "A Chorus Line" at Peoria Players Theatre, and also appearing in the production as Zach the director.

He talks about his dual role in the show. He also notes that "A Chorus Line" is in many ways defined by its choreography, and by it's iconic costumes. The Players production is using rented costumes, which have previously appeared in professional productions of the show, on and off Broadway. He also talks about casting the show early, so that the cast had plenty of time to learn the choreography; and about the musical's enduring appeal after four decades.

"A Chorus Line" opens tonight at Peoria Players Theatre. Performances continue through May 12th.
