A motorcycle operator died early Wednesday after a crash involving a second vehicle in Pekin.
Preliminary information from the Illinois State Police indicates the motorcycle collided with an SUV shortly after 5 a.m. at the intersection of Illinois Route 9 and 5th Street.
The motorcycle driver’s identity has not yet been released by the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office.
The incident remains under investigation. No additional information was provided.
