A 62-year-old Armington man died Saturday after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck in Mackinaw.

Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley said Jeffrey Foster died at the scene following the crash shortly before 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Illinois 9 and Leopold Road.

In a social media post, Hanley said preliminary autopsy results indicate Foster suffered multiple injuries as the operator and only rider on the motorcycle.

The incident remains under investigation by Illinois State Police, the coroner’s office, and the Tazewell County Sheriff's Office.
