With a win in their final game of the season Friday night, the Knights are heading back to Peoria with the Illinois High School Association Class 3A third-place trophy in tow.

Richwoods bounced back from a semifinal loss to DePaul College Prep earlier in the day to post a 62-50 victory over Mt. Zion at State Farm Center in Champaign.

Senior standout Lathan Sommerville finished with 22 points and nine rebounds, making all 12 of his free throws for Richwoods, which pulled away from a 32-32 tie at halftime.

DaQuan Little added 16 points and Jared Jackson had 10 as the Knights finished the season with a 30-5 record.
