Peoria police are announcing a second arrest in the city's first homicide case of 2024.
Mickael Williams, 25, was arrested Wednesday near Dallas, Texas for the Jan. 4 murder of Arlin Bermudez in the 200 block of East Thrush.
Williams is in the Dallas County jail awaiting extradition to Peoria.
David Stone, 39, previously was arrested in connection with the case. He's pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder.
