No foul play is suspected after a man's body was found Saturday morning at Bradley Park.

According to a news release from the Peoria Police Department, officers were called at 9:48 a.m. to the 1800 block of North Park Road for a report of a body found in a creek.

Peoria police and Peoria park police found an “obviously deceased adult male.”

Peoria police said officers canvassed the area on foot and used a drone and a police dog to search the area for possible evidence.

The Peoria County Coroner’s office said the man was identified as Michael Shropshire, 35. The coroner said Shropshire died from drowning. It's unclear how he ended up in the creek, but there were no signs of inflicted trauma to his body.
