One man is dead after a shooting Saturday morning in Peoria.
According to a news release, officials say an adult man arrived at a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds just after 10 a.m. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood said the victim was 40-year-old Torlando Smith of Peoria.
During an investigation, officers said they determined the shooting happened at a residence in the 100 block of South McReynolds Court.
There is currently no suspect information and police are still investigating the shooting.
