The Peoria County Sheriff's Office is investigating the murder of a man apparently shot multiple times in the parking lot of the Casey's gas station at 2114 W. Farmington Road.
35-year-old Stashaun Wheeler of Decatur was identified Monday as the victim. The sheriff's office said he was apparently shot multiple times.
The post says there's no one in custody, but preliminary information shows two people started firing at the man in the Casey's parking lot, before leaving on foot, possibly to a vehicle parked down the road.
