A Peoria man wanted in connection with two murders on New Year's Day was arrested Wednesday.

Daniela Jackson, 33, and Bridget Ross, 35, were killed in separate shooting incidents on Jan. 1. Two men also suffered non- life-threatening injuries in the incidents.

Police identified the suspect as Robert White, 27, on New Year's Day, but were unable to locate him. On Wednesday, a multi-agency task force took White into custody without incident in the 1800 block of West War Memorial Drive after receiving information on his whereabouts.

White is being held in the Peoria County Jail.
