Bond is set at $1 million for a Peoria man charged with murder in the death of a 2-year-old girl.

Shamari Williams, 25, faces two first-degree murder counts in connection with the death of Emorri Green in Peoria's North Valley neighborhood on Tuesday.

The Peoria County coroner said the child died from traumatic blunt force injuries. The death was ruled a homicide following an autopsy.
