Police Investigate Double Homicide After Bodies Found In Peoria

Peoria Police are investigating a double homicide after two bodies were found in a parked vehicle Wednesday night.

The bodies were found just after 6 p.m. in the vehicle on Arrowhead Lane near Idaho, police said. The men were already dead when police first arrived.

On Thursday, Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood identified the victims as brothers Eric D. Bailey II, 27, and Zamion Bailey, 22, both of Peoria.

Harwood said both men suffered multiple gunshot wounds to their bodies and died instantly.

This is currently being investigated as a double homicide, police said. There is no suspect information at this time.
